Stages of Evening Facial Cleansing

Stages of Evening Facial Cleansing

No miracle cosmetic will work. No active ingredient will penetrate the skin or properly act on it if your face is not properly cleansed. The fact that you don't wear makeup doesn't exempt you from mandatory rituals because your skin is constantly exposed to external factors: it collects dust, sweat, dead skin cells, microorganisms, and sebum. Therefore, you absolutely must get into the habit of a two-step evening cleansing routine and a one-step morning routine.

Step 1:

Apply a cream, balm, or oil cleansing product to dry hands. Spread by rubbing the product and massage the dry facial skin for about 40 seconds, don't forget about the neck, décolleté area, and the hairline. Then rinse with water—preferably lukewarm (not hot). Use a towel for washing off, and if you don't have one, simply rinse with your hands. Make sure to rinse thoroughly, rinse the towel under running water, and proceed to step two.

Step 2:

In this step, use foam or gel products that can create lather. Make the lather by applying a small amount of gel (a tiny pea-sized drop) to your hands and then rubbing it, or by using a foaming net. Using a foaming net significantly increases the efficiency of your cosmetics. They will last you twice as long. Apply to a wet face, massage for 30 seconds, and rinse with water (using a towel or hands). Pat the skin dry.

After such cleansing, you will have well-cleansed facial skin ready for care. Without proper cleansing, you might as well skip expensive serums or creams—skincare makes no sense, and cosmetics won’t work as they should.

Cleansing is the foundation of skincare. Without it, there is nothing.
